Reign FC Michelle Betos went one-on-one with Spanish National Team defender Celia Jiménez Delgado to talk about World Cup preparation, her teammates, and who inspires her the most.

Michelle Betos is a goalkeeper with Reign FC in the National Women's Soccer League. She received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Georgia. Betos has played professionally for eight years, originally drafted by the then Seattle Reign FC for the inaugural NWSL season, but then spent three years with the Portland Thorns FC. While in Portland, Betos was nominated twice for NWSL Goalkeeper of the Year, winning the award once (2015) and earning NWSL Best XI honors in 2015. In 2016, Betos won the NWSL Shield with the Thorns. Internationally, Betos has competed in the UEFA Champions League with Fortuna Hjørring (Denmark) and Apollon Ladies (Cyprus). Her overseas career also includes stints with Vålerenga (Norway), and Sydney FC (Australia). Outside of soccer, her interests include anything to do with optimizing high performance, spending time with family and friends, and cooking.
