In the 2020 NWSL College Draft, the North Carolina Courage selected:
- forward Ally Watt (Texas A&M) at No. 6;
- defender Sinclaire Miramontez (Nebraska) at No. 27;
- defender Addisyn Merrick (Kansas) at No. 28; and
- midfielder Brianne Folds (Auburn) at No. 36.
The North Carolina Courage made four selections at the 2020 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) College Draft: forward Ally Watt (Texas A&M) at No. 6; defender Sinclaire Miramontez (Nebraska) at No. 27; defender Addisyn Merrick (Kansas) at No. 28; and midfielder Brianne Folds (Auburn) at No. 36.
Forward Ally Watt made 90 appearances for Texas A&M, scoring 49 times and earning first team All-America honors in her junior and senior years. At the youth level, Watt represented the United States at the 2016 U-20 World Cup in Papua New Guinea and scored two goals.
Sinclaire Miramontez, out of Nebraska, made 76 appearances for the Cornhuskers and earned first team All-Big Ten honors in her sophomore and junior seasons.
With the No. 28 pick, North Carolina selected defender Addisyn Merrick out of Kansas. Merrick earned the 2019 Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year award and anchored a defense that help win the Big 12 Championship. She made 87 appearances for the Jayhawks.
With their final draft pick, the Courage selected midfielder Brianne Folds out of Auburn. The midfielder earned first team All-SEC honors in 2018 and made 76 appearances for the Tigers, scoring 24 times and assisting 25 times.
