Trinidad & Tobago will face Ecuador in a two-leg playoff series for the final spot at next year’s World Cup.
Charlyn Corral scored twice for Mexico, once each in the extra-time periods, to seal the victory against Trinidad & Tobago. The Soca Princesses equalized in the 57th minute off a Kennya Cordner goal, and briefly took the lead in the 78th minute off a Mariah Shade goal. Mexico cam back to equalize in the 79th off a Monica Ocampo goal.
