The Chicago Red Stars have acquired forward Rachel Hill from the Orlando Pride. The Red Stars will also receive the No. 19 overall pick in the 2020 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) College Draft, Orlando’s first-round pick in the 2021 NWSL College Draft, and allocation money. The Pride now have the Nos. 3 and 26 overall picks in the 2020 NWSL College Draft.
Initially drafted by the Portland Thorns at No. 14 in the 2017 NWSL College Draft, the Connecticut forward was then traded to the Orlando Pride in exchange for first- and fourth-round draft picks in the 2018 NWSL College Draft. Hill made 60 appearances for the Pride, scoring 11 times.
