Midfielder Sarah Killion has re-signed for Sky Blue FC ahead of the 2020 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
The team’s co-captain was drafted by Sky Blue as the second overall pick at the 2015 NWSL College Draft. Killion played her 100th NWSL game on August 18, 2019, all with Sky Blue. Overall, Killion has made 106 appearances, scoring 11 times and adding in nine assists.
Killion has represented the United States at the U-20 and U-23 levels, winning the 2012 U-20 World Cup. In 2014, she was called into camp with the senior U.S. Women’s National Team and also in 2017 but has yet to earn a cap at the senior level.
Killion helped UCLA win a national championship in 2013.
