The draw for the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Women’s Championship was announced on November 4, 2015. The tournament will be held in Honduras and begins on December 3 and runs through December 13.
The top three teams from the tournament directly qualify for the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup to be held in Papua New Guinea.
History
The tournament is held every two years and determines the qualifying countries for the U-20 World cup, which is contested biennially.
The Unites States is the defending champion of the tournament and the most successful country, winning the tournament four times (2006, 2010, 2012, 2014). Canada won in 2004 and 2008.
Draw
Eight teams were divided into two groups of four. Semifinals will be between the top two finishers in each group. The winners of each semifinal, plus the winner of the third-place match will qualify for the 2016 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Host Honduras was pre-seeded in the top position in Group A while defending champion United States was pre-seeded atop Group B.

U-20 World Cup
Eight spots in the 16-team field for the 2016 U-20 World Cup have been determined. In addition to host Papua New Guinea, the countries competing include Japan, Korea Republic, Korea DPR, France, Germany, Spain, Sweden, and New Zealand.
Three berths from CONCACAF and two from Africa and two from South America are still to be determined.
