FFC Frankfurt struck first in the 29th minute after Saskia Bartusiak converted from the spot. SV Werder Bremen’s Stephanie Goddard found the back of the net for the equalizer in the 62nd minute. It was Frankfurt’s first draw of the season and came after a string of five matches in 15 days.
Currently, Frankfurt sits in fifth place in the league table while newly promoted Werder Bremen sits in eleventh.
