Sights: United States vs. Haiti in Group State of 2014 CONCACAF Women’s Championship

[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he United States defeated Haiti, 6-0, to win Group A in the 2014 CONCACAF Women’s Championship at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. The U.S. advanced to a semifinal match against Mexico, which it won, 3-0, to qualify for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.

Abby Wambach scored two on the night in the 39th and 60th minutes. Rounding out the scoring for the U.S. were Meghan Klingenberg (57′), Carli Lloyd (9′), Christen Press (65′), and Morgan Brian (82′).
