Ahead of the second game in a two-game series against France, the U.S. Women’s National Team held a public training session. Photojournalist Cynthia Hobgood was there to capture some of the sights from the session.
The United States defeated France, 1-0, in the first meeting on June 14, 2014, in Tampa, Florida. Sydney Leroux scored the lone goal of the match off an assist from Christen Press.
The teams meet again on Thursday, June 19, at Rentschler Field in Connecticut. The match will be streamed live at 7:30 pm ET on ussoccer.com.
