A number of high school soccer players in the U.S. have begun to commit to play at Division 1 colleges. U-17 USWNT forward Lindsey Horan (Colorado Rush) has committed to play at the University of North Carolina. Laura Liedle (San Diego Surf) also committed to UNC. Three other schools that competed in the 2010 NCAA Women’s College Cup received commitments from some of the top girls in the country.
