Ali Riley, who was on the cover of and featured in the August 2010 issue of Our Game Magazine, scored two goals on October 8 in New Zealand’s 11-0 win over Papua New Guinea in the final of the OFC Women’s Championship. The Football Ferns outscored their opponents, 50-0, in five games. The seven other teams combined to score 28 goals in the tournament. New Zealand now joins Sweden, England, Norway, France, Japan, North Korea, Australia, and host city Germany on the list of teams that have qualified for the 2011 Women’s World Cup.
